I hope that you are having a wonderful week as God blesses you everyday with
something new in your life.
First of all let me say "Thank You" for the wonderful words of encouragement that you
have given me since I came as your Pastor. We are continuing to see God do some great
work in our midst and I would like to encourage you to continue in the faith. I heard
Maury's Sunday school class and the heart felt stories that happened in there Sunday,
and I was amazed at how God works in the midst of our belief. We have a great church
with great believers working for the Lord, so I want you to continue in the faith. I want
to challenge you in this first article to do some things to help our church become unified
and to grow.
God would send us our people back to our fellowship. People are waiting for an
invitation to come back to see us, and we need to love them and being them back in a
gentle way.
INVITE-Talk about the great things that are happening at our church. Invite people to
come and see us. Invite them to events like the Tailgate Party, Fall Festival, 5th Quarter
and many other events.
GETINTHEGAME-Get involved in the actions of the church and let others know that you
are excited about what God is doing at our church. Find the ministry that you like to be
involved in and come and be a part of it. Don't sit back and watch get involved!!
SUPPORTEACHOTHER-We need to support each other in everything and support all the
activities of the church and what they are doing to reach people. Start today by
supporting each other and what they are doing to build the body of Christ.
If we do these things I know that God will bless us and use us to reach people for the
kingdom.
